I got this email from Mark Wieneke <
mark@markwieneke.net>. He owns a traffic exchange and what he had to say made a lot of sense.
He writes, "Today I would like to talk about setting up schedules to surf. When I first started Surfing I would always surf at the same time every night. Then after speaking to Tony Tezak he made me realize that I was always showing my advertisements to the same people.Tony suggested a surf schedule to stagger my efforts at each exchange. This way there would be different people viewing my sites each day.
That tip alone made a big difference in my results. I only surf around twenty exchanges each week now. Should I not have time for my whole schedule I try to at least get an hour or two on those. I used to surf over 40 of them. Looking back now, I realize I was not getting good results because my efforts were so diluted. I was only surfing a little at each exchange. Because of my efforts being so divided surfers were only seeing my sites once in a great while at each exchange. I was not establishing myself anywhere. Now that I surf just about twenty I use three tabbed groups. I named them one, two, and three, clever huh?
Here they are:
Group 1, Group 2, Group 3. So my three groups are changed around to have me now surfing each exchange at a different time than the day prior.
On Sundays I like to surf those exchanges that I surf occasionally to keep my account active and have my ads spread out a little more".
Cheers

I took what he had to say to heart and spent a couple of hours organizing my TE's and grouped them like he suggested. I have mine set up in a new browser call AM Browser. This little gem makes organizing a snap. You can set up groups and then save them in the browser. To start surfing you call up the group and login and away you go. I too was doing my surfing at the same time everyday on a schedule that met my needs with job and famuily. I am now mixing it up a bit and changing my offers every couple of weeks in a rotation. not very sophicated but I will watch what happens!
